Hello world!

March 8, 2010

this is our crest

Welcome to the new Eire Og Seville club website.

This is the first day of the site, so it’s a bit of a work in progress at the moment.

The big news, however, is that this weekend is the club’s big stage debut, at the Iberian GAA football championship right down in the hopefully sunny south of Spain. We are sending a strong team down to Marbella on Saturday, and confident of putting on a decent show. The jerseys have been ordered, the tactics worked out and the enthusiasm levels topped up. It should be interesting anyway…

If you are wondering what all this is about, Eire Og Seville is a new club created for people living in Seville, with the idea of  introducing gaelic football to Sevillanos, keeping fit, having a bit of craic and (ahem) winning the Iberian GAA Championships.

To find out more about the club’s history and background click on the about us link.
